Pétalo
Inspired by the anatomy of flowers and how they are exposed to exterior natural conditions, this kinetic piece evokes the happy and youthful side of a tulip in a garden. The main characteristic of the Pétalo daybed is its circular flower shape and the elevation system, which allows the piece to hang and illuminate the bottom surface like a chandelier. This daybed offers an experiential design intended for outdoor use, allowing two people to enjoy its comfort while savoring its calming colors and texture.

A shelter that incorporates outdoor and indoor elements, a comfortable and soft pod that allows the user to feel the fresh air and sunlight.
The sensations and feelings that we want our users to feel are those that just make life better. As drinking coffee as you watch the sunset, laying down on your favorite sofa, staying in bed, reading your favorite book, and just having a moment of silence to be with your own thoughts.
The canopy, the base and the petal shade are all made out of an aluminum structure that then is weaved with a weather resistant fabric. All these elements nest between each other and it portraits a sense of harmony.
A very important characteristic is the incorporation of side tables. They nest inside the cushion and have a simple cut that mimics the petal shape. It is perfect for a glass of wine, a book, or some speakers.
We have collaborated with a textile designer Jimena Urquiza that has captured the simplicity of nature and has used the colors of the day bed in a more saturated way. She has also incorporated our signature pattern.
One unexpected characteristic is the incorporation of a chandelier that light the surroundings. Lights shine through beautifully leaving the same iconic pattern on the bottom surface.
