Inspired by the organic beauty of marine shells, the Coquina sconces—designed for Jouffre’s Trompe-l’Oeil showroom installation at NYC Design Week 2023—celebrate the harmony of material and form. Named after coquina, a sedimentary rock formed from compressed sand and seashells, they embody nature’s artistry in transformation.

Crafted in collaboration with BAS Stone NYC, these sculptural pieces balance the depth of marine blue marble with the luminous softness of white onyx, mirroring the meeting of sea and shore. White oak spheres add a tactile contrast, like driftwood polished by the tides, bringing warmth to their structured form.
